If you need a way to spice up your boring green beans, this video is for you! This recipe is extremely easy, yet packs a ton of flavor! I am showing you 2 different ways to make these, whether its for a family function or just an average weeknight dinner. This green beans are sure to impress! "Awesome" Green Beans 4 cans green beans 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup reduced sodium Soy Sauce 1 stick of butter 1-2 teaspoons garlic powder 3-6 slices of bacon (cheap kind) DIRECTIONS: Melt together the the butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, and soy sauce in small sauce pan. Pour sauce over drained and rinsed green beans into 9x13 baking dish. Chop bacon into bite sized pieces. Spread bacon over top of green beans and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bacon reaches desired crispiness. (I tend to bake mine closer to the 45-1hr mark. Its just personal preferance!) Stovetop "Awesome" Green Beans 2 Cans Cut Green Beans, drained and rinsed 3 strips of bacon, cut into 1 inch bite size peices (OR 1/4 cup cooked Bacon Bits) 1 tbsp Butter 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar 1/4 Cup Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce Sprinkle of Garlic Powder 1/2 can Water Cook bacon and set aside if you are using fresh bacon.
