I love the verses of this song, as they speak of the work of Jesus Christ. I find verse 3 to be my favorite, as it is a prayer that we lift up to God in song. Lyrics V1 See the destined day arise! I'm experimenting with different compressors on different song covers, and on this one I chose the Studio Vocal compressor in Logic. I thought it worked with this song, even though it removes some of the dynamic range in my singing, I think it helped the overall energy of the recording. In contrast, I typically use the " Classic Vocal" compressor in logic; it is less intrusive when it comes to the dynamic range of my voice.
