That’s my boy, a documentary on Gender Identity portrays the remarkable and inspiring story of an Indian trans-man, sensitively conveying trans-genders' struggle to lead a normal life. The film was officially selected and screened in 54 international film festivals - 14 alone from United States. It has bagged 12 'Best Documentary' awards worldwide and the official selection list includes 43rd Athens International Film Festival, a qualifying festival for Academy awards. This Bio-Documentary also serves in various awareness programmes, academics and as a study material in two North American Universities. Research papers are also written on this film, being an authentic case study. Government of India's official Television channel - DoorDarshan handpicked and telecasted 'That's my boy' as an inspirational film. The film was screened in Netflix Headquarters, California as part of PRIDE event, 2019. Sonu still lives in Bangalore exploring a better, self-designed future.
