What exactly is Progressive Overload and how do you incorporate it into your workouts? And more importantly, how do you get stronger without getting injured in the process? That's what we'll discuss in this video... Progressive Overload simply means adding weight to your exercises overtime. It's a very simple concept. But like a lot of simple things, the further you go down the rabbit hole, the more complex it becomes. When you go to the gym and lift weights, the main goal is to build strength. But you want to do so without injuring your muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments in the process. With Progressive Overload you gradually increase the weights or resistance that you're lifting over time, coaxing your body to adapt and grow bigger and stronger in the process. But the challenge is how do you keep increasing the weights you lift, without hurting yourself? That's a very delicate process and one that we're going to discuss in detail in this video.
