ENGLISH: Homage to Mañjushri, Homage to all victorious ones who pervade all directions, To all pure Buddhas, to the Tathagatas of all directions, To the noble ones, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Homage to Mañjushri, Who possesses all power and who has cultivated pure wisdom throughout endless kalpas, Adorned with stainless virtues. You are revered by devas, humans, asuras, nagas, and vidyadharas, Who bow to your lotus feet emerging from crowns of jeweled matted hair. Homage to Mañjushri, Homage to Mañjughosha, the great Bodhisattva, Who destroys all sufferings and leads beings from lower realms and bad destinies. Thus: Om, you who are adorned with luminous jeweled garlands, Liberator of supreme beings, Bearer of the treasure of the Tathagata's Dharma, Holder of excellent Dharma. You lead beings to happiness through perfect joy and bliss. You calm the fire of afflictions and eliminate suffering. You embody the nature of emptiness, Following the path of the great Bodhisattvas. Grantor of boons, you wield the great noose of wisdom, Unsurpassed, infinite, universally good, Universally beautiful, universally manifested, Universally expanding essence. Hail to you, Mañjuvara! With your vajra sword, sever, sever, Break, break, Purify, purify, Destroy negative actions and grant happiness. Do, do, Hold, hold, Grant, grant, Destroy ignorance. Ah, ah, Greatly frightful one, Cry, cry, Essence of liberation, Rescue me, O Great Bodhisattva! I am helpless, I am afflicted, I am suffering, I am tormented, I am deluded, I am without effort, I lack the noble Dharma. You, Bhagavan, Grant happiness to the suffering, Provide refuge to the helpless, Relieve the afflicted, Eliminate all torments and sufferings. You bring joy to those who lack wisdom. You complete the accumulation of virtuous Dharma. You grant effort to those who are lazy. You offer the nectar of immortality even to me. O Bhagavan, the supreme refuge and protector, Eliminate all my suffering. Dispel the stains of my afflictions. Destroy all torments of cyclic existence. Fulfill me with virtuous Dharma. Shatter the mountain of my karmic obstructions. Guide me in the practice of supreme effort, served by great Bodhisattvas. Lead me to the realm of peace, free from defilements, Free from attachments and desires. This mantra embodies equanimity, vast as the sky, Profound as the ocean, Steadfast as Mount Meru. Homage to the great Bodhisattva. Grant blessings. Svaha.
