Everyone on the internet seems to have their own opinions on how to fix this issue, from adding a relay to sprinkling holy water... The Problem: When my 99 Land Cruiser first experieced the infamous "crank but no start" issue, i believed it to be a bad fuel pump. I changed it out along with the fuel filter and everything was good for about 6 months, until it didnt start again. After trying to replace the burnt 20amp EFI fuse and the EFI relay to no avail, i dove deeper into the issue and found the junction box was at fault. Affected: All 100 series Land Cruisers and LX470 Solution: Suck it up and get a new junction box. Yes, theyre expensive and yes, you could possibly cut something, and rig up some wires etc, but I think the our Land Cruisers deserve better.
