Unlike previous launches, Modal did not send out a lot of units to influencers for review. They should because this synth is unlike any synth I've ever heard or played before. It truly invites you to experiment with sound design and has you dive into tangents. This is my 1st 30-minute interaction with the synth. I barely touched the presets. All sounds you hear are 100% carbon8 sounds without any processing, pedals, or effects. I did have a sustain pedal plugged in to latch / hold to free up my hands to twist those sweet knobs. SAUCY
