Les Eterlous Green Piste Alpe d'Huez Skiing France

A leisurely ski down the Green Piste of Les Eterlous in Alpe d'Huez, video from the top of Louvets chair lift, to the east side of the Alpauris chair lift and bottom of the Louvets chair lift. As an amateur, I found Les Eterlous a good piste for racing down. It's wide at the start and has a steep enough slope to get up some speed, but not so steep that beginners feel out of their depth! (hence the green status). The final part of the slope is lined with trees, making it an attractive slope to ski down. Following my friend, who was on his first ever ski trip; if you look at my shadow, you might wonder what I was wearing as I filmed this! As a group, my friends like to do one day of fancy dress on the slopes - but I was ill on that day, so missed it. The next day I thought I should go out in my cowboy outfit, with inflatable horse, as it would have been a shame to waste the opportunity! The hat wouldn't stay on though, and the horse deflated when I was travelling at any speed... Check out La Sarenne (skied from the top of Pic Blanc) - the longest black ski run in the world, at 16Km long and 3330m high!
