We stayed in an alley right off of Wenceslas Square and the main bus station was nearby so we didn't need to use public transport. You can find this breakfast restaurant in Nerudova Street close to the Prague Castle. To enter the sites around Prague Castle, you need to buy a ticket. Find the prices and options here: https://www.hrad.cz/file/edee/2020/10... Note that you need to climb 287 steps to get to the top of the Great South Tower of the Cathedral. The entrance to the Christmas markets is free of charge. The traditional delicacies that you can buy are not very cheap. For example, the prices of Trdelnik can vary between €5 and €8. T-Anker is a rooftop restaurant with a great view of the city. You can check the menu on the following link: http://www.t-anker.cz/en/menu/ The peculiar Paternoster elevator can be found in the City Hall and the entrance is free of charge but make sure to be respectful and to not disturb the people who work there. The infinite book tower can be found in the Municipal Library of Prague where you don't need to pay an entrance fee.
