Additional to this, there are respective departmental tutorial rooms attached with the individual departments. The Dissection Hall of the Anatomy classes is fully air conditioned. The laboratories of various departments like Pathology, Biochemistry, etc are well equipped with instruments. 5) Each classroom is provided with Multimedia Projectors, Computers, slide projector and microphone system. Apart from this overhead Projectors are also available for teaching in classrooms and different departments. 6) The College has a modern fully air-conditioned library located on the first floor. The library has a huge collection of more than 11,000 books including expensive latest monographs. It subscribes 7 international medical journals on an annual basis. The library accommodates seats for 100 students and 15 teachers at any given time. 7) The Medical college has attached Hospital in Dhanmondi and has the accommodation in three six storied buildings with arrangements for 600 inpatients. The new building of the Hospital, called the Community Welfare and Health Care Centre (CWHCC), was established with the base of international standards. It has an excellent Outpatient Department in addition to Inpatient facilities. The College also has a 24 hours Modern Accident and Emergency Department. 8) A very well built and good hostel facilities is available for both local and foreign students with proper: - 1) Food 2) Free Wi-Fi Service 3) Washing Machine 5) Refrigerator 6) Television 7) Air Condition Room/No Air Condition Room 8) Security Service (24 hours) 9) 24 hours attendant 10) CCTV, Coverage for security and safety. 9) The number of seats available each academic year is one hundred and thirty (130). Admission is based on merit and is extremely competitive with a high ratio of applicants seeking admission. Five students are given free studentship on their high merit as a privilege the total medical course fee is waved off. 10) The distance of the college is around 10.3 kms from Hazrat Shah Jalal airport, Dhaka.
