I am unbelievably thankful to ‪@royalenfield‬ for inviting me to take part in the North American launch of the all new Himalayan 450. We spent a full day testing their new entry-level adventure bike on a variety of Utah terrain, including water crossings, beautiful canyons, high speed twisties, and some of the stickiest, most tenacious mud I've ever encountered on a motorcycle. Through it all, the all new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 continued to impress me. This is quite possibly the best entry-level adventure bike on the market. Taking the Himalayan 450 off road is a blast. It's stable and capable and while its gentle power delivery makes it beginner friendly, it also has the chops to be fun for more advanced riders if you really get up into the RPM range. Taking the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 on the highway was also impressive. The original Himalayan was not great at highway speeds but this new Himalayan 450 has no problem cruising at upwards of 75 or 80 miles per hour.
