The annual UK-ASEAN Business Forum (ABF) is the premier conference of the year that highlights significant opportunities for UK businesses in fast-growing Southeast Asia. Hosted by the UK-ASEAN Business Council in collaboration with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the Department for Business and Trade and the UK Mission to ASEAN, the forum brings together key stakeholders in growing the UK-ASEAN trade and investment relationship, now worth over £49 billion. Laos is Chair of ASEAN in 2024 and has chosen the theme 'ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience'. The UK-ASEAN Business Forum was a unique opportunity for UK businesses to understand better the key challenges and opportunities facing the region and how they can grow their presence. Issues such as digital transformation, infrastructure connectivity, green finance, promoting greater economic integration and people mobility while addressing the global challenge of climate change were discussed.
