DaVinci Resolve vs Premiere Pro

I have been digging into DaVinic Resolve for the last few months! I've used in the past for grading projects but until recently I hadn't worked on the editing side of the platform. I started editing over 15 years ago with Final Cut Pro 4 and stuck with it through 7. I refused to go to FCP X and instead went with Premiere Pro because of its GPU acceleration. Fast forward 10 years and Premiere isn't the power house it used to be. So does it make sense to stay with it or should I move to another platform?
