Day 3 on the Boreal Trail in Meadow Lake Provincial Park, Saskatchewan. We stop at BT 4 for a quick water fill and snack. Then we head out to the Murray Doell camp ground. To our surprise, just before the trail comes out to the road at the gate to the Murray Doell camp ground, we found a resupply locker! We did not see this advertised anywhere, which is unfortunate as we totally would have dropped off 3 days worth of food instead of carrying six! Way to advertise Sask Parks! We had lunch at a picnic shelter and dried out our gear. Since this is a front country camp ground we took advantage of the garbage bins (which had bags in them... we checked first seeing as it was off season and the campground was actually closed) and got rid of a few days of trash. We made it to BT 5 a little later on. Its a nice site with a great view. There's no picnic table which is unfortunate as the benches at these back country sites aren't very comfortable!
