This is a rare historical footage archive of the Nazi Germany, Allied and Soviet newspaper and Joseph Goebbels’s speech at Berliner Sportpalast (Berlin Sports Palace) in February 18, 1943 after heavy defeat from Stalingrad with English subtitles. Goebbels gave the this speech after the defeat at Stalingrad to boost German morale, rally the public, and call for full national mobilization. The goal was to convince the German people to support total war efforts despite the devastating loss. Goebbels also urged the German people not to believe the lies of the Allies and the Bolsheviks, portraying them as enemies spreading false propaganda to weaken German unity and morale. #ww2 #german #speech
