Thomas Sheehan Recital - St. Mark's Cathedral, Shreveport - 2022 East Texas Pipe Organ Festival

Thomas Sheehan plays an organ recital for the 2022 East Texas Pipe Organ Festival on the 1959 Aeolian-Skinner at St. Mark's Cathedral, Shreveport. The organ was designed and tonally finished by Roy Perry, and installed by the Williams Family of New Orleans. The original contract was drawn up in collaboration with William C. Teague, organist of the (then) church, Roy Perry, and G. Donald Harrison. By the time the (then) church was completed, Mr. Harrison had died and Joseph Whiteford was president of Aeolian-Skinner. Much of the organ was refinished onsite by Mr. Perry and the Williams Family, and it stands as a testament to their artistry to this day.
