On June 20, 2013, Universal Studios Florida held the official grand opening of Transformers: The Ride 3D featuring an action-packed ceremony that included jets soaring overhead, pyrotechnics, and Optimus Prime and Bumblebee arriving to protect the Allspark from Megatron and the Decepticons, led by General Morshower. Walking the celebrity red carpet were Optimus Prime voice Peter Cullen, Megatron voice Frank Welker, and executive producer Steven Spielberg.
