Travelling by train (Regionalexpress, RE) from Frankfurt central station via Friedberg and Gießen to Pohlheim-Garbenteich. Trains from Frankfurt to Gießen leave at least every hour, 22 minutes past the hour. Gießen: trains from Gießen to Gelnhausen via Pohlheim-Garbenteich will leave from Platforms 12,13 or 15. After leaving the train at the station in Garbenteich, you'll need to walk through the center of the village, then cross the railway track to reach Grueninger Weg. Then, after walking southbound for a couple of hundred meters more, you will finally enter into a different World. ;-) That walk will take about 25-30 minutes. Maybe then it might be better to take busses 372 or 375 from Giessen station (west) and get off at Pohlheim-Garbenteich Sportplatz, then walk for approx. 12 minutes only.
