Please share with the person who you cared. ********************** (BTTG 614) The deep deep love of Jesus Long time ago, there is a small town, one man had convicted murder charge and waiting for to be executed. Town council and judges decide the execution time is 12:00 noon time at town square next day. When the town church strikes the bell at noon, then they will start to execute that man. Next day, people gather around the town square to see the execution. When 12:00 noon arrived, but they can't hear the striking sound from church bell, so they stop the execution to investigate the situation. When they go up to check the church bell, everybody had been truly touched by the scene they seen. They see an old lady who is the mother of murderer, she is holding herself around the church bell; when bell hammer strike, and her body take all the impact of force, so the church bell won't make a sound. Because the deep deep love of this old lady, town people spare the life of murderer, so the death of old mother bring life to her son. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) From previous "Lamp and Light" video message (BTTG 613), Jesus shown His unconditional love at the "Cross". We really can't comprehend the love of Jesus, because He sacrifice His life to died on the cross, so people who believe in Him can live and never perishing. Lots of people can say: "I love you", but didn't see they have love action. Jesus didn't say: "I love you", but His action had shown that He has deep deep love toward us. First Adam (first sinner) had broken the trust of God; and second Adam (sinless Jesus) had re-connected the trust of God. Because He is 100% son of man, so He can sacrifice himself to replace us and bear punishment for us, and He is 100% of God, so He have ability to redeem everybody sins throughout the history. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Everybody needs the salvation from Jesus to cross over from death to life. Jesus died for us; it is all because the deep deep love of Jesus. Jesus, He is God come from glorious heavenly throne to rough earthly manger willingly and become flesh. Jesus not born as a king or prince, He is son of carpenter, all He did to pave the way for us have chance to go back Father God. Jesus knows that ahead His journey to the cross, He will encounter so many torture, mocking and abuse, but He still want to walk this horrible and cruel journey. Jesus prays in Gethsemane, Matthew 26:39 Jesus said: "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Jesus suffer greatly on the cross and carry all the sin of all the people and become the lamb of sacrifice, He reconcile us with Father God. Jesus also resurrected and ascending to heaven, and sit at right hand of throne. The deep deep love of Jesus waiting patiently, He will leads us onward, and He will leads us homeward. Salvation is free, but it is not cheap, because Jesus had paid the heavy price for us. He wear thorn crown, take whipping from Roman soldier and endure mocking from Pharisees, finally persecuted by chief priest. "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:3~5) We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth." (Isaiah 53:6~7) Just imagine that in order to redeem us, Jesus have to go through so many humiliation, suffering, tortures and persecution, finally died on the cross for us. Why He do such things to us? He did all these things just because of "the deep deep love of Jesus". "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) The deep deep love of Jesus never forsakes us or leaves us. Jesus promises us that we won't walk alone when we facing weary and burden. May the people who believe in Jesus can say: "Jesus is my life, He is my hope, He is my inspiration and He is my everything; and I love Jesus." *********************
