YES, I know I'm using a controller and not a wheel. YES, I know I'm using the chase camera. Those two things do not change physics. The car in WRC G is clearly doing things it shouldn't (like aggressively wanting to flip over when drifting through a crest) while the car in NGP 7 is driving more like a car. Potentially important video:    • Suspension/tyre feedback loop   The tyre sim has issues with suspension compression. Who knows what other broken things it's doing. Still not fixed as of the 15th of February, 2023. No public or private acknowledgement of this either. The point of this video is to compare these two games' driving physics, not how the games look or sound. Some people are saying that WRC Generations is more realistic and closer to the RBR NGP mod, safe to say I don't agree with that in the slightest. The way the car moves and feels is completely off in WRC Generations, further from reality than WRC 10. Their marketing material also mentions more realistic physics as a selling point, which it clearly fails to deliver on. My driving is nowhere near perfect in both examples, but you can clearly tell that in RBR NGP the car is much more predictable and I had no issues correcting mistakes, meanwhile WRC Generations feels like I'm driving a top heavy delivery truck with all the wobbling and two-wheeling. On WRC G, I'm using the GIMX adapter to spoof a Logitech G27 with a gamepad. The game is borderline unplayable with the normal slow gamepad controls. On RBR I'm only running the NGP 7 mod and the C3 WRC 2017, everything else is vanilla. I'm also just using the normal gamepad filters the game has. Unfortunately I couldn't add real WRC footage because of copyright claims.
