Driver sentenced to 17.5 years for 112mph crash that killed mother, 3 children near Renton

The 19-year-old who admitted to killing four people when he ran a red light and crashed into a minivan at 112 mph near Renton in March 2024 was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison on Friday. Chase Jones, who was 18 at the time of the crash, pleaded guilty in early April to four counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault for the high-speed crash that killed Andrea Hudson, 38, Boyd "Buster" Brown, 12, Matilda Wilcoxson, 13, and 12-year-old Eloise Wilcoxson. The crash also injured Hudson's two children, Nolan and Charlotte.
