No Coffee for 30 Days (As a Caffeine ADDICT) - WaterMinder No Coffee Challenge Follow me on X: https://x.com/truejackjenk Hit me up on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/truejackjen... Script: I am a caffeine addict. I drink anywhere from two to usually five cups of coffee in the morning. And I am not talking about decaf. I get that Costco breakfast coffee injected right into my veins on a daily basis. Needless to say, a thirty-day challenge with no coffee would be hard as I don’t get my fix from Monster or any of those energy drinks. Guess what challenge I am doing? Well, the one that’s the title of this video. What’s going on everybody! My name is Jack Jenkins and welcome to my YouTube channel. I do videos on reviews and challenges. Today is a thirty day no coffee challenge. [Intro] This is a continuation of my video series of doing every single WaterMinder challenge. WaterMinder is a water tracking app for both Ios and Android, you can see my review and other completed challenges in the playlists linked below. I did the 21-day hydration habit video previously and have moved on to the No coffee challenge. Just seven more challenges to go… please help me. As I said previously, I drink a lot of coffee. Five cups of that breakfast blend are four hundred seventy-five to seven-hundred and fifty milligrams of caffein. That is assuming ninety-five to a hundred and fifty milligrams in each cup which is the general estimate. According to the mayo clinic four hundred milligrams of caffeine a day is safe for most adults. I am getting almost double that on some days at the highest. That is not good and something that I need to fix especially as someone who is diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Reducing caffeine could help my symptoms. With the app in hand, I set out on no caffein for thirty days. Just a side note, I did this challenge and wrote most of this challenge back in January of 2025. I am touching up the script in October and I have just no idea when this will get recorded and posted… might be January of 2026 that is how behind I am on my videos. My challenge was simple, do not drink coffee. As a bonus challenge, I will maintain my challenge water level of drinking eighty-eight ounces of water. These two goals combined, I set out on the journey. Day one started off okay, I had a bit of a headache but it wasn’t too terrible. However, the next two days were excruciating. I had such a major headache I could barley focus at work. It was horrendous. I knew that I was having caffein withdrawal. This happens as your body develops a physical dependence on the caffeine. Caffeine constricts the blood vessels in the brain reducing blood flow in there. Without caffeine, the blood vessels expand dramatically increasing the pressure giving you that headache. It’s not anywhere close to alcohol or hard-drug withdrawal. There are no documented cases of death from this. It’s not even close to what the other two will do to your body… but this is still the closest I can come as Someone who is straight-edge and it is miserable. I was tired and upset for a few more days but on day 10 something great happened… I pretty much got over the symptoms. I was back to my normal self. The other part of the challenge, drinking more water had me pee a lot more but I was basically back to normal. Day ten through day thirty went swimmingly and I really had no problems with the challenge. There were times where I smelled my wife making coffee and it brough just a rush to my veins but other than that I wouldn’t even think about the stuff. Other than Pepsi, I don’t eat or drink stuff with caffeine so I was cut off from the beginning. I was able to complete the challenge in no time and get the victory icon in my WaterMinder app. During my thirty-day challenge, I recorded how much water I drank each day. Here is my chart of all of the values each day. I hit my eighty-eight ounces water goal every day except for the second to last day. Day twenty-nine was my lowest at eighty-two point four. Did that mean I failed the challenge? Probably but I am powering through dammit! Day three was my highest at one-hundred and seven point six. In total, I drank two-thousand nine-hundred fourteen point six ounces...
