How to Make a Net Using a Headline

Sometime when making a net, you want to create a net that is attached to a headline or headrope. In this video you will learn how to cast your twine onto a headline using the clove hitch. Initially when you start, you will need to secure your twine to the headline. I personally use a loosely fitting fixed loop knot, for when I know that I want to remove the finished net from the headrope. However, if I know that the net will remain attached to the rope, I will use a slip knot and allow that to jam up tight against the headrope.
