Brief description of the incident On 06.11.2025, Sector-39 Police Station, Noida, received information that the body of an unidentified woman was lying in a drain. Based on this information, a case was immediately registered, and approximately nine teams were formed to identify the body and uncover the incident. Based on the toenails and other identifying information recovered from the woman's body, a search patrol was formed, and tireless efforts were made to identify the woman's body. Operation Details To uncover the incident, police teams examined over 5,000 CCTV cameras and tracked approximately 1,100 vehicles. Approximately 44 vehicles were identified and their owners/drivers were questioned. In this sequence, on November 5, 2025, a white and blue bus was traveling towards the scene of the incident in a suspicious condition with its lights off. The teams investigating the case obtained the number of the suspect bus, UP16KT0037. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the driver, Monu Singh, resides in Baraula. When information was sought about the driver of the suspect vehicle to identify the body of an unidentified woman in Baraula, it was discovered that a woman named Preeti Yadav, alias Preeti Devi, had been missing for five to six days and had been in a dispute with her driver, Monu Singh, for some time. On 14.11.2025, Sector 39 police successfully uncovered the above incident and, with the assistance of local intelligence, arrested driver Monu Solanki, son of Satyaveer Solanki. Based on the accused's information, the remains of the deceased, Preeti, her clothes, the murder weapon (knives), the bus mat, and the bus involved in the incident were recovered. Interrogation Details During interrogation, the accused stated that Preeti and her mother worked together at a jeans factory in Baraula, which led to our acquaintance and her visiting each other's homes. Meanwhile, Preeti and I developed an illicit relationship. Preeti began harassing me more and taking away my earnings. Meanwhile, Preeti and I had several fights. Preeti was constantly blackmailing me. I have three children: two daughters and one son. Preeti frequently threatened me, saying, "I will leave you nothing and will force your daughter into immoral activities." For this reason, I became filled with anger towards Preeti and began plotting to eliminate her. On 5.11.2025, I went to Preeti's house and brought a sickle with me, which Preeti was unaware of. I took Preeti on my bus. We bought parathas on the way and sat together in the bus, eating them. During this, Preeti started abusing me, and we got into a fight. I then slit her neck with the sickle I had hidden. I also cut off her hands to conceal her identity. I threw the body into a drain on the way. I threw the other remains and the murder weapon into a dry drain near Siddharth Vihar in Ghaziabad. Upon examination by a forensic team, the blood stains were found to be human blood. Other necessary legal action is being taken.
