Zambezi Council Enhances Water Services Ahead of Likumbi Lya Mize Ceremony

By Sovia Kachongo Zambezi Town Council has assured participants and visitors attending this year’s Likumbi Lya Mize traditional ceremony of improved water and sanitation services. Council Environmental Planning Officer, Caroline Mooto, stated that the council has installed additional toilets, along with an extra pump and water tank, to ensure a reliable water supply to the palace and surrounding community. She made the remarks during an interview with ZNBC’s Sovia Kachongo in Zambezi District. Meanwhile, Zambezi West Member of Parliament, Vumango Musumali, noted that the initiative is part of a broader water reticulation project within the constituency.
