Family relationships shape how children understand emotions, handle challenges, and communicate with the people around them. But many children simply don’t have the words to explain what they feel. In this video, I’m sharing a Growth Mindset Family Journal I created to help children slow down, reflect, and build their social and emotional vocabulary through writing. These prompts guide children to think about family, gratitude, support, and the everyday moments that shape who they are becoming. This journal was originally created for The Queen of Down Syndrome and my classroom students to help them organize their thoughts, understand emotions, and build confidence in expressing themselves. Over time it has grown into a much larger series designed for teachers, homeschool families, and caregivers who want meaningful conversations with the children in their lives. Each page includes a feelings check-in and a guided writing prompt, helping children practice reflection while building stronger communication and emotional awareness. This is just one small section of a much larger series designed to help children build a growth mindset through writing. 📚 You can find the printable resources here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/s...
