Groundwork | Titus 1:1-4 Different households have different rules - we all know that. The Bible calls the church the household of God, and the book of Titus gives us a clear, practical guide for how God’s house is meant to function. It’s short (just three chapters), but it’s direct, clarifying, and deeply relevant. This Sunday, we’ll kick off a new series by laying the groundwork together. Hope to see you there! This Week Grace & Galentines January 31st | 10:00-2:00 Ladies, Join us for a sweet Galentine’s celebration, TOMORROW! We’ll gather for worship, a testimony, lunch and afterwards spend time creating Valentine’s cards as a service project. These handmade cards will be delivered at a later date to nearby nursing homes and assisted living facilities to help spread love and encouragement this Valentine’s season. February Foundations Class Wednesday, February 11th | 7:00 Want to learn more about our church—who we are, what we believe, and why we exist? Then this class is for you! Join us for a relaxed, two-part class on Wednesday, January 28 and Wednesday, February 11, from 7:00–8:30pm at the church. Two of our Board Members will guide us through our statement of faith, our vision, and the heart behind why we do what we do—plus there will be plenty of time for questions and conversation. Even if you missed the first class, it's okay! This class is open to everyone, whether you’re new or have been around for a while. We’d love to have you there! Annual Congregational Meeting February 22nd | After Service Join us for our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 22, immediately following our church service. This is a great opportunity to hear where God is leading our church as we present the 2026 budget, share high-level ministry updates, open the floor for Q&A, hear vision from our Pastor, and vote on new Board Members. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! Please note that voting is limited to church members. If you’re interested in becoming a member, membership forms are available through our front office. Give Online Giving is part of our worship, and we invite all of our members to put the Lord first and trust Him with our finances. Click the button below to give today! GIVE TODAY 2025 Giving Statements We wanted to provide a quick heads-up regarding giving statements. You will be receiving two giving statements for 2025. This is simply because we changed giving platforms partway through the year. In a typical year, you would receive just one statement, so we wanted to let you know ahead of time to avoid any confusion. One giving statement is from our old system, which will be mailed to the mailing address we have on file. The second giving statement is from our current system, and is being emailed to the email address we have on file. If you do not receive one or both statements, please contact our front office by phone or email amber@cmvchurch.com. We’ll be happy to make the statements available for you to pick up and ensure your information is updated moving forward! Thank you so much for your faithful support of this local church body. Your generosity truly makes a difference. Please Pray for... Kit’s language acquisition. He needs language to communicate with the married refugee men he is reaching out to, especially to share the Gospel. Discipline to study language faithfully. A good memory for the most useful vocabulary and conjugation of verbs. Bob – Kit showed him the beginning of the Jesus film around Christmas and he responded to the Jesus film by reciting passages he considers holy that he has been memorizing. Zeek
