Niewoudtville is probably a town that most South Africans (let alone international visitors) have never heard of. This small town in the middle of the Northern Cape comes alive once a year as the spring flower season brings a burst of colour to the arid landscape. The lack of any large towns also makes for some of the darkest skies to be found in South Africa - ideal for astrophotography and star-scapes! Come with me on another adventure as Prasheen and I go in search of flowers, stars and all else we can find.
