I used it because my reverse osmosis system was scheduled to need replacement filters which are stupid expensive and at the same time- my former plumber shorted out the electrical panel on my house water softener with a dumb mistake. So I bought this to test water quality. It turns out, my RO water is still perfect- replacements not yet needed. However the water coming from “America’s Finest City” is not so fine- almost off the charts not so fine- as in almost 500 parts per million! If it had been 500, I would have reported it to the EPA!!! Thanks to my RO, my drinking water had around 10 parts per million. NEVER DRINK TAP WATER!
