Almost Sunk My Kayak! Speed test 55 Thrust Trolling Motor and Wireless Steering

I almost sunk my kayak. The battery was too big, and with the amount of weight I almost sunk this kayak. I took the kayak to a pond to test the speed of my 55 thrust Motorguide on this 10 foot Sundolphin Destin I got from Walmart. I made a custom motor mount and wireless remote steering that I have never tested. As soon as I hit the thrust on the trolling motor all went downhill, or should I say the back of the boat went down. Ok, Bad joke. This was not quite a fail as I did get the kayak up to a good speed, but I did not get to test it on a 24 volt setup.
