Power & Politics, the flagship political analysis program of the CBC, recently interviewed Mona Ghassemi, an Iranian-Canadian who condemned US sanctions on Iran and Israel’s Mossad for hijacking peaceful protests in the country. Mona is the President of the Iranian-Canadian Congress (ICC). When Power & Politics received backlash from viewers who support Washington’s regime-change agenda, it apologized profusely for interviewing Mona and invited onto its program an Iranian-Canadian who denied Mike Pompeo’s own admission that Israel’s Mossad was on the ground in Iran. He also smeared the ICC. Dimitri Lascaris speaks with Mona about the attacks on the ICC and the CBC’s failure to allow the ICC to defend itself on Power & Politics.
