Access to George's Island can be obtained via the ferry service, Boston Harbor City Cruises. Georges Island is a great place for a walk or hike near Boston! Starting at George's Island Pier, I walk past some artillery on display, around the fort to the picnic area. From here I proceed uphill toward an entrance to Fort Warren on Georges Island. After stopping to take a few pictures of Fort Warren, I proceed downhill into a dry moat surrounding Fort Warren. I continue around Fort warren Stopping to observe the nearby Lighthouses in Boston harbor and the other nearby Boston harbor Islands. On top of the ramparts of Fort Warren there are more views of Boston, Boston Harbor, and Quincy Bay. I conclude the video by exploring the inside of Fort Warren and returning to the pier.
