Night Fishing | Dampier Archipelago | Shipping Channel | Fresh Bait Join Eden and her personal camera man, (Rohan), as they venture out on a picturesque Pilbara afternoon to catch some fresh squid to use as bait, with hopes of catching a few red fish after dark. Launching from our local boat ramp in Dampier, Western Australia. We catch some beautiful squid within the archipelago as the sunsets on the horizon. After the sun sets, we make an hour long trip out through the main shipping channel that services Karratha and Dampier, to drop a line in the night, and see what will bite. With hopes of targeting red fish, we are greeted by the sounds of whales in the harbour, eerie sounds of the night, and dauntingly big ships barely avoiding us as we hold ground in a no-anchor zone, committed to catching our target species.
