Project of the Year: Egbe Medical Mission | Don Campion | M3 2025

Don Campion, CEO of Banyan Air Service and Mission Leader of Egbe Medical Mission, was born to medical missionaries in Nigeria. Growing up in Egbe, he attended a mission boarding school and later pursued aviation studies in Toronto. In 1979, he co-founded Banyan Air Service in Florida, which has grown into a top aviation company with over 200 employees. After revisiting Egbe 30 years later, Don found the once-thriving hospital his parents founded in ruins. Moved by the need, he and his family launched Egbe Medical Mission to rebuild and revitalize the hospital and nursing school. Over the past 14 years, their efforts have restored the facility, now serving 30,000 patients annually, performing 1,200 surgeries, and training 450 nurses. Don’s leadership is guided by faith, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
