Warning: SPOILERS Leonardo Da Vinci is an iconic historical figure who lived in Italy during what is called the European Renaissance period. Not only is his famous work including paintings such as the Mona Lisa, but he was also a talented sculptor (none of his works survive), engineer, scientist, theorist, and architect (Leonardo's Rivellino during the Milanese Wars). A true polymath of the ages and another figure to add to my edits. ‘Leonardo is a series that recounts Leonardo da Vinci's extraordinary life through the works that made him famous, through the stories hidden within those works, revealing little by little the inner torment of a man obsessed with attaining perfection.’ The show wasn’t entirely accurate as the whole murder plot line and Caterina was made up, alongside his origins etc. Nevertheless, I did find it entertaining and the artistic elements of it were well done!
