How I Moved a Cabin by Hand (Part 1)

In this episode, we take on the massive challenge of moving an old homestead cabin to a new location on the property. Using steel beams, an excavator, skid steer, and a whole lot of teamwork, we lift the cabin off its foundation, drive deep pilings, and carefully transport it across rugged terrain to its new home. This project has been years in the making—and in true homestead fashion, we kept the cameras rolling to capture the real, raw process. From digging in frozen ground to lining up the cabin just right, this video shows the ups, downs, and everything in between. To keep things moving, we sped up a lot of the long shots so you can really see the transformation happen without dragging things out.
