Join me on the Kola map for an action-packed air-to-ground mission in the DCS F/A-18C Hornet! This time, I’m learning the ropes as the lead of a two-ship strike, tasked with taking out key targets using MK-83 bombs. The Kola map’s stunning scenery covers northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia's Murmansk Oblast, making it a perfect backdrop for this mission, complete with carrier operations over the Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea. In this mission, I’m not just focusing on my bombing runs—I’m also directing my wingman to engage targets, stepping up as the strike lead for the first time. Along the way, we encounter intense AAA fire, which keeps things exciting and makes each pass over the target area a challenge.
