While the Pat Promrangka-Michael Tobin quarter-final was cancelled because the former was unable to make weight because of unforeseen circumstances, the rest of the quarter-finals lived up to their billing and capped a magnificent night which also saw heavily favoured Singaporeans Syafiq "The Slasher" Samad and May Ooi winning their fights decisively in the Under Card and solidified their already prominent status in the MMA scene.
