The Francisca throwing axe has always been a favorite design when it comes to historical axes. This axe at one point in time was used as a battle axe primarily for throwing at one’s enemies during the early to medieval ages. The Franks would heave this throwing axe to soften the enemy line, cause disorder in the ranks or to just out right send a message as the battle started. In any event, it’s just an interesting design with the main intent to be a throwing axe! In this video I go over my throwing experience with the Friction fit Condor Francisca axe.
