Here I run the HP VT21 engine, which at 3.45cc, is one of the smallest commercially produced four stroke engines made for the market. Originally made in Austria (this example is), the engines & spares parts are now available from MECOA in the USA. Similar to the Webra T4-90 4C, the HP engine has a rotary valve in the head but in this case is driven by bevel & spur gears on a shaft rather than a belt drive. This example with the black head features a roller bearing in the head which ensures very smooth running of the rotary valve.
