Electrical resistivity is a fundamental property of a material that measures how strongly it resists electric current, such as pure water which is an insulator. A low resistivity indicates a material that readily allows electric current. Resistivity is commonly represented by the Greek letter ρ. Resistance is defined as the opposition to the flow of electrical current through a conductor. There are four factors that influence the resistance in a conductor. Thickness (cross sectional area of thewire), length, and temperature. The fourth factor is the conductivity of the material that is used. The density (specific mass) of a substance is its mass per unit volume. Metal and Alloy densities vary significantly and it depends on the metal element. To convert between kg/m3 and Ib/ft3, then we need to multiply by 0.062428. Therefore, 1 kg/m3 equals 0.062428 Ib/ft3 To convert between Ib/ft3 and kg/m3,then we need to multiply by 16. Therefore, 1 Ib/ft3 equals 16 kg/m3 The equation for density is defined below: p=m/V Whereas the basic formula for the area of a rectangular shape is length × width, the basic formula for volume is length × width × height. The cross-sectional area is the area of a two-dimensional shape that is obtained when a three-dimensional object - such as a cylinder - is sliced perpendicular to some specified axis at a point #density #cross-sectional #area #cross sectional area #length #material #electronics #Resistance #conductor #conductivity #charge #conductance #MHO #ohm_law #What is electricity #energy #ampere #current #voltage #Volta #volt #basic-electronics #urdu #hindi #Lecture-13 #H-Corel-Electro-Lab #corel #Gujranwala #Pakistan #parameters #units_and_measurements
