Jones fue quien impulsó la idea de construir un ferrocarril en la zona, a partir del cual la estación central es el punto donde nace esta ciudad. En julio pasado visitamos esa región y realizamos un interesante City Tour acompañados por guías locales que nos contaron los aspectos más importantes de la ciudad y nos mostraron lugares clave como la plaza central y los museos a través de los cuales se muestra la historia de la zona. También visitamos la capilla Tabernacl, una de las capillas galesas que se abrieron a fines del siglo XIX en Chubut.
