Have you ever heard of Sumbawa? No? Well, you’re probably not the only one! Time is of the essence! In this episode, we set out on a mission to cross Sumbawa in just under 3 days in time for our pre-booked Komodo National Park tour. Our aim here is to do things the unconventional way and show you budget travel with a hint of madness. We would’ve had plenty of time had we chosen to take the plane from Lombok. Crossing through Sumbawa, however, proved to be a bit of a challenge. We opted for the second most budget-friendly option after hitchhiking (which is very uncommon across Indonesia) - local buses. Watch us leave our last sense of comfort and familiarity on Lombok’s shore as we embrace the wildest adventure of this trip so far! Thank you for your support! Please subscribe for more of our travels around Indonesia and beyond! ♥️🦞 ⏰ Chapters: 00:00 - Intro 00:45 - Onto the Ferry 01:37 - The First Unforgettable Bus 02:47 - Karaoke Van! 04:25 - Evening in Sumbawa Besar 05:07 - An Immense Rush 06:26 - This Bus Was Full of Surprises 07:33 - A Much-Needed Rest 09:34 - The Last Leg of The Trip 13:09 - Wild West of the East 14:54 - Outro 🔗 Links: 🏠 GRAND KHALIFAH Guesthouse (Sumbawa Besar): https://www.booking.com/Share-cdeFuVE 🏠 Juliana HomeStay (Dorobanggo, near Dompu): https://www.booking.com/Share-SNW4An 📌Locations: Kayangan Sea Port, Lombok, Pelabuhan Poto Tano Port, Sumbawa, Sumbawa Besar, Doromelo, Dorobanggo, Dompu, Bima, Sape, Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Sape, Indonesia Be part of our journey: 🤘Instagram - @homars_abroad 🤘TikTok - @homars_abroad 🤘Facebook - Homars Abroad 🤘Email - [email protected] 📘 Keywords: Sumbawa, Remote destinations, Indonesia on a budget, Sumbawa backpacking, Indonesia backpacking, Indonesia travel vlog, Karaoke, Indonesian food, Public Transport, Local Buses, Traveling on a budget
