I wanted to do this song for a long time. I've been jamming to it for quite a while and I simply love this song and album. This song goes through a lot of different moods and changes. The drumming by Ryan Van Poederooyen is outstanding. The album "Transcendence" is amazing in its entirety and I might be doing a couple more songs from that album. There will definitely be more Devin Townsend on this channel. Devin is my favorite artist of all. I discovered his music at a very special time in my life. His songs always bring something positive in my day. When I saw the live version of "Grace" I knew from the beginning that I would love it. That was the first time I've heard of Devin. Then I discovered Deconstruction and that is one of my favorite records. I was already very passionate about drumming. I started this Youtube channel more than 6 years ago I think and one of the very first song I covered was Supercrush. I knew Ryan gave lessons during his tour in Europe and they played near my hometown. I contacted him and sent him the cover. He was so positive and encouraging. We met before the show and did the one hour lesson. He didn't just answer my questions that day... He changed my life ! Giving me the motivation speech I needed and all the keys to become a professional drummer. I'll never forget that day. I don't think I would be anywhere near where I'm at if I hadn't met him.
