Why The Honda VTX 1800 Was WAY Ahead of Its Time... This is a 2006 Honda VTX 1800 R that I bought and sold a few years back. Today I'm going over a bit of the history of the VTX 1800 line and sharing how much I paid for this bike as well as what I sold it for. I'm a huge fan of the Honda VTX1800, especially the "F" model. The bikes are total torque monsters with close to 120 ft lbs of torque, and they were way ahead of their time in my opinion.
