The beautiful pale buzzard that was found after being hit by a car on the M25 slip road near Heathrow Airport, has now been with us for a number of weeks. After its life-saving surgery by avian specialist Neil Forbes, it quickly went from strength to strength. It wasn't long before the pins and external fixator could be removed and it could get back to a life in the wild!
