By popular demand, with this track I’ve recreated the full spectrum of earth’s Schumann resonance frequencies, with the low subharmonic pulses and higher frequency bands represented as binaural beats. These binaural beats are centred around the closest chromatic note in A432, if you were to stack the resonance frequencies like a chord. For each layer of binaural beat, the pulse frequency matches that resonant band exactly, and the notes used to generate the binaural beat are centred around octaves above each subharmonic. The volume of each band also reflects their relative intensities. Below are the Schumann resonance frequencies, along with their derived binaural beat target notes. 7.83 Hz = C2 64.22 (62.64) 14.3 Hz = Bb2 114.42 (114.4) 20.8 Hz = E3 161.74 (166.4) 27.3 Hz = A3 216 (218.4) 33.8 Hz = Db4 272.14 (270.4) 39.8 Hz = E4 323.48 (318.4) 45.9 Hz = F#4 363.27 (367.2) 51.2 Hz = G#4 407.76 (409.6) 57.0 Hz = A#4 457.69 (456) 62.8 Hz = C5 513.73 (502.4) Again, at the 9:30 mark I express the Schumann resonance frequencies as a chord on the keyboard, using the same voicing derived from nature. At this point, I fade out some of the lesser frequency bands. At the final 3rd, you'll hear a tone rise and fall to signify that the track is reducing down to just the 5 most prevalent frequency bands.
