Fiji’s life didn’t start out well; rescued as a tiny puppy with her mum and siblings when their owner tragically took their own life, she went on to join Surrey Police. She had an exceptional career, for six years, with handler PC Bird by her side; saving lives, finding missing people, detaining dangerous criminals, and locating vital evidence. Retired life hasn’t always been quiet for the veteran, but she’s been lucky to pull through two life-saving surgeries and now enjoys relaxing with her loving family. After everything she’s been through and everything she’s done, there’s no dog who deserves the Lifetime Achievement award more.
