Watch me Build a new Lathe Bench for NOVA Comet II Lathe

I purchased a new lathe and had to build a new lathe bench. It has been almost two years ago since the motor burned out on my little Harbor Freight Lathe. It was only about a year old so I decided not to replace it. About that time I decided I would pursue something a little different for a while. I watch a LOT of videos and I found exactly what I was looking for when I discovered Dave Gatton. He designed a DIY CNC and calls it a GATTON CNC. (I wonder why he decided on that name, LOL). Well anyway, the rest is history and I built one and soon became an avid player, not an expert, but a committed CNCer. As I said, I still watch lots of videos and guess who I owe credits now for getting me back to the woodturning world; none other than Dave Gatton. He featured several videos with work he is doing on his NOVA Comet II and I was somewhat impressed with what he was doing on this small benchtop lathe. Mine arrived the day I got my bench completed and I now want to share with you my build.
