South Africa’s illicit economies will be considered within the context of the 2025 Global and Africa organised crime indices. The Global Organised Crime Index 2025, which encompasses the Africa Organised Crime Index, shows the world at a crossroads on dealing with illicit economies. Criminals have taken advantage of geopolitical competition, technology, violent conflicts, trade wars and the erosion of democracy to expand their markets. Join us to launch the latest indices and consider South Africa’s criminal ecosystem within the global and African context and how the country can navigate the complex road ahead.
